Holidays in New York

With the move to New York I have not had a lot of time to update! I have been very busy, but I went and took some photos of the city at night. I am gearing up for engagement season, so feel free to call for a meeting.

I will be continuing to do Weddings, Engagement Portraits, Day After Portraits, Pregnancy Photos, and Fashion Photos.

Brett Clark Photography is officially in New York!
I shot Heather and Kyle around town in a "Day After" shoot and we had so much fun! They were great, especially because it was so hot that day! We even had to cool down with Ice Cream in Central Park!

Big News! Brett Clark Photography is relocating to New York!
After all of the weddings already booked this summer are over I will be starting over in New York City!

Running of the Brides

I had so much fun at the Running of the Brides at Filene's Basement this morning! I have been to the running of the bulls, but I wasn't prepared for this! 

I met so many wonderful people in line and as they tried on their dresses!

St Patricks Day Preparation

My kitten and I decided to have a photo shoot to prepare for St Patricks Day! Here is my favorite! She certainly is a cutie!

Bridal Shoot in Athens

I went to Athens this weekend for a bridal shoot. We had so much fun, and what great photos! These are a few of my favorites! Call to set up an appointment for your own bridal shoot!

Nashville

March 21, I will be at the Running of the Brides, and March 22 is the Boudoir Photo Shoot in Atlanta!

Boudoir Portraits

I have gotten a fair amount of interest in the special on Boudoir Portraits, so I wanted to take this time to try to connect those of you interested in splitting a hotel room for a session.
I will leave it up to you, but if a group picks a date in March you can save money by splitting the cost of a hotel room and we can line up the sessions back to back every hour and a half or so.
I think March 22, would be the best date.
When you choose your room I would recommend finding one with an elegant feel.
Let me know how many are interested in that date and I will connect you all, or I can rent the room and split it up and add it to your totals!

Bridal Portraits and more!

I want to get my website updated and add a lot of new photos, so I will be looking for a few great brides-to-be and recent brides to help me out. In exchange, you will get a very reduced rate on certain services! Feel free to tell any of your friends so they can take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!

1-Bridal portraits-Do you want a fun edgy portraits, that either you didn't get on your wedding day, or don't think you will have time for on the day of your wedding?
I want to take brides to very urban settings for portrait shoots. I want to keep them funky and fun, and they will be very different from anything other brides have!

2-Trash The Dress- I would prefer recent brides for this one, but whoever wants can email me. www.trashthedress.com for examples, but think of something crazy you would like to do in your wedding dress, maybe jump in a lake, or paint a mural. Whatever you can think of, or if you want to participate and don't know what you want to do I can come up with something that fits your personality!

3-Boudoir- For reduced rates I will need your permission to post the photos on my website. I do not do nudity. These will be tasteful, yet sexy photos. If you do not want your photos on the site I will still shoot them for the regular rate.

4-Maternity- These photos look best if you are 6 or more months pregnant. I will remove unsightly spots, so relax and lets have a fun photo shoot!

Atlanta Phone number

As many of you know I am planning to move back to Atlanta. It is the primary place that I shoot Weddings and I miss my family and friends who still live there!

Site Down

I am sorry to everyone who has tried to visit my site today. I have spoken with Globat.com who hosts the site and they have assured me that my site will be back up in 2-5 hours.
The whole system is down due to a software error. They have assured me that it will not happen again.

Monica's

I went to Monica's, a local Bridal Salon last week. They are having a Watters and Watters Trunk Show Feb 29 an March 1. The dresses they had were beautiful. I would even wear the bridesmaid dress for other occasions! The owner Dolores raved about Watters and Watters, she said they always have unique and elegant dresses. 

I took some photos of Meg Ferguson in a Watters and Watters dress with other dresses from the label behind her. This one is my favorite.

Thoughts on Wedding Photography advertising

I don't have a new photo I want to add, but I would love to hear from brides who have questions about wedding photography. 

What would some brides think about doing a bridal portrait shoot in an old church with beautiful stained glass? I have the spot all picked out and it is beautiful, now all I need is a bride in the photo!

I also will try to post my logo for my new all wedding website soon!

Another Wedding

One of my best friends from college got married December 15. The wedding was at St James United Methodist in Athens, Ga. I met Katrina at the church while she was getting ready. She is braver then I would be eating in her Wedding Dress!

Wedding Photography

I shot Amanda and Jeff's Wedding at the Catoosa County Colonnade December 1. We Had a lot of fun! I met Amanda and her bridesmaids at the beauty shop where they were getting their hair done. I followed her to her hair appointment and to get her make-up done! Then we went to the Colonnade where she got ready!
The Wedding was beautiful, and the photos turned out so well!
